The two layers improve insulation, with air trapped between the two helping to maintain head temperature. The Reversible BUFF Hat is treated with Polygiene, containing anti-microbial silver chloride, so your hat will resist bacteria build-up and remain fresher for longer. The BUFF Hat weighs 44g.
