Description
For those of you who love the thrills and heart-pumping spills of gravity-focused mountain biking, the Trajecta MTB Helmet delivers an exceptional level of comfort and protection. Head protection comes via the twin-pronged technology of Multi-Density EPS foam and Smartshock® Rotational Protective System. Starting with the Multi-Density EPS foam, this forms the core of the Trajecta. In the event of a crash, this foam absorbs and dissipates impact forces, with the multi-density design working for both slow and high-speed crashes. We then come to the Smartshock® system. Smartshock® Rotational Protective System While most standard cycle helmets are great at dealing with straight-on impacts, oblique, angular impacts are in fact more likely to occur. These create rotational acceleration and deceleration forces to the head and brain. The Smartshock Rotational System combats those extra forces via a suspension system seamlessly integrated into the helmet. This innovative fully suspended system through compression of direct impacts while elastomers allow inner and outer to move independently of each other. Both features help reduce energy transfer to the brain over a wide range of speed and impact types. Keep it Comfy It's all very well being protected but it's not much use if you're not keen to pull on a helmet due to it being uncomfortable or too hot. However, the Trajecta has a total of 24 ventilation ports, offering a real rush of airflow to your head. A moisture-wicking liner also ensures what sweat you do generate is quickly drawn off your skin. It's anti-microbial too, preventing nasty smells and itchy scalp. Lastly, the Fidlock SNAP magnetic buckle makes it incredibly quick and easy to secure the Trajecta in place.
