Description
Inspired by The Lemon Album, one of the V&A's greatest textile treasures. This album showcased 97 amazingly bright pattern for woven silk fabrics that were painted for watercolour. Pineapple fruits were seen as a sign of hospitality, welcome and prestige in Georgian times, which has now been translated into a bright and vibrant wallcovering design using Surface and Flexo printing techniques. Seen here in the Sage colourway.
