Edwardian Revival. A rare silver plated intricately designed necklace, inspired by the late Queen Elizabeth II. Features beautiful floral detail with articulated stylised drops embellished with clear pear-cut Swarovski crystals. Pinch-push clasp closure, signed A&S for Attwood and Sawyer.. The Edwardian femininity, fluidity, articulation and fineness are unmistakable. Dangles, swags, articulation, and tiny swinging gemstone droplets evoke a liquidity and liveliness iconic to Edwardian jewellery.. Silver plate & Swarovski crystals, 39.5 cm with 6 cm. ABOUT THE DESIGNER. Established in England in the mid-fifties, Attwood & Sawyer specialised in creating costume reproductions of fine jewellery. Many of their most popular items were interpretations of the Duchess of Windsor's personal collection. Their high quality approach to bold costume jewellery is now very sought after. The brand had a very strong presence across the UK and Europe, and went on to produce the jewellery for the television series "Dallas" and "Dynasty" in the 80`s.
