This brooch was designed by Leroy Miozzi in the early 1960s and were one of the most popular designs that stayed in production until the late 1980s.. 22ct triple gold plate, 6.4 cm. ABOUT THE DESIGNER. The Monet company, previously known as Monocraft, initially created monogrammed bags before moving into costume jewellery. Their popularity surged following WWII, as their clean and tailored designs appealed to the new female workforce. In the 1980s Monet designed for Yves St Laurent.
