This extremely rare rhodium plated necklace, inspired by regal elegance, sits beautifully on the contours of the neck. Featuring clear Swarovski baguette crystals. Adjustable weighted chain and hook closure, signed Trifari.. Rhodium plate and Swarovski crystal, Adjustable to 44 cm. ABOUT THE DESIGNER. Trifari created some of the most desirable costume jewellery of the twentieth century, many of its designers having trained and designed at Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier. Amongst them was Alfred Phillipe who joined Trifari in 1930 as head designer and Andre Boeuf another celebrated signature designer from Cartier who became lead designer in the 60s once Alfred Phillipe retired. The company patented its own non-tarnish metal, calling it Trifanium.
