Just because something is a classic, doesn't mean it can't be messed with. Inspired by a design pulled from our archive, we've reworked our Original Chelsea boot with an unorthodox high silhouette. Made from tough Smooth leather, the Chelsea boots stay true to the decades-old design with yellow welt stitching and a scripted Air Wair heel loop. The 2976 is the rugged Docs take on the classic Chelsea boot. Manufactured since the 70s. Hardwearing and famously tough, our Smooth leather can be polished to shine or scuffed-up. It's up to you. Clean with a damp cloth and care with Dr. Martens Shoe Polish. Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch Upper: 70% Leather 30% Elastic Inner: 60% Leather 40% Textile Sole: 100% PVC.
