Igenix The Dehumidifier, with it's ability to operate in low temperatures, is ideally suited for use indoors and outdoors. Desiccant dehumidifiers work by extracting moisture from the air in temperatures ranging from 1°C upwards and are much more effective at extracting moisture than a compressor driven dehumidifier. For example a 7 litres per day desiccant dehumidifier extracts more moisture than a 25 litres per day rotary compressor dehumidifier. Desiccant dehumidifiers are smaller, lighter, quieter and more efficient (i.e. cheaper to run) plus there are no consumable components on a desiccant dehumidifier compared with a rotary compressor dehumidifier.
