Made in Yugoslavia and released in 1981, the adidas Originals Torino nods to the north Italy city, Turin. To our joy, adidas is now bringing a slice of Italy to our City Series rotation again, with a modernised version of a terrace gem. Like much of adidas' lauded 'City Series', the Torino sports plush suede on its upper and lightweight, crinkled tongues all dressed in blue. Contrasting shiny silver coats the 3-Stripes and heel branding too, and metallic Torino lettering completes the lateral sidewall. For a classy, indoor sports-inspired finish, the trainer has a semi-translucent gum sole to complement the above. H01808
