adidas set out to celebrate the diversity of the sneaker scene with the A-ZX series, and it’s succeeding so far. This ZX 9000 ticks off the alphabet’s letter Y via Central America, drawing inspiration from the traditional moccasins of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. Panels of premium black suede and nubuck form the panelled upper and removable fringe detailing, while the style’s classic stitching trims the toe box and heel counter.
