Aeolus Studio Women's Silver Sword Earring
Description
Inspired by Metallica’s 1983 debut album “K!ll Em All,” originally titled "Metal Up Your Ass," this piece pays homage to the album's legacy. The name change was prompted by record label concerns over offensive artwork. The revised title, a bold statement, captures the band's defiance. The original cover, featuring a hand clutching a dagger from a toilet, is reimagined here. The dagger handle draws from the Statue of Liberty’s torch, symbolising artistic freedom, while the blade reflects a Greek sword infused with mystical elements. This tribute celebrates Metallica’s pioneering spirit and encourages creativity and responsible enjoyment. Please note that this is sold as a single earring and not a pair. EVERYDAY WEAR To preserve the polish of your jewellery, remove your jewellery when cleaning, bathing and swimming, and always keep away from any source of heat. Avoid direct contact with water and chemical products. Household cleaning products, bleach, make-up, soap, perfume and hair-spray may dull the finish of your jewellery and cause discolouration or oxidation of the metal. Please handle your jewellery with care and avoid collision with hard surfaces, as it could change and damage the shape of the jewellery. Silver might oxidise over time. To avoid this as much as possible, gently wipe your jewellery clean with a soft cloth after each wear to remove any dirt or oils that accumulate during wearing. STORING YOUR JEWELLERY We commend that you store your jewellery individually in its Aeolus Studio pouch for safekeeping. This also helps against the jewellery being exposure to direct sunlight. CLEANING YOUR JEWELLERY Clean your jewellery with warm water and detergent free soap, or with a professional cleaning kit. Furthermore, we recommend your jewellery to be cleaned by a professional jeweller once a year to have it last longer.
