The Akan goldweights served numerous purposes in the traditional Akan society. They were used to weigh gold dust which served as currency in the pre-colonial kingdoms. The Akan goldweights bangle is made of 750/1000 gold over Sterling silver. It can be worn alone or stacked up with other bracelets.
