Attentive to the narrative capacity of objects, the Sicilian architect Mario Trimarchi designed the Ossidiana espresso coffee maker for Alessi. Like his other projects, this one is based on memories and fragments of images, told through the form of an article. Ossidiana embraces the memory of the various sides of the traditional Moka coffee pot and the form of Obsidian, a volcanic stone.
