Combining a unique tiered pocket spring system and a deep box pillow top, the Tranquillity is designed with support and comfort in mind. Supplied by Argo, Europes biggest manufacturer of springs, the interior consists of 1000 inner coils with 3250 mini tablet springs on either side. Housed in their own cloth sleeve and totally independent of any surrounding springs, the interior offers piston-like support to each part of the body. Side-stitching is a labour intensive and intricate technique thats reserved for top-end mattresses and performed by experienced craftsmen. Using a long upholstery needle and high tension twine, the perimeter springs are attached to the border to provide complete edge to edge support. This process strengthens the mattress edge and prevents the border from bowing out overtime and also increases the sleeping area by 20. With 8kg per square metre of natural wool, cotton, cashmere and silk 4 x the normal amount, you can be assured of a luxurious and enhanced feel.
