Featuring a deep pillow top, the mattress is upholstered in the softest 100 natural viscose fabric with a hand tufted finish to ensure longevity. With 8kg per square metre of natural wool, cotton, cashmere and silk 4 x the normal amount, you can be assured of a luxurious and enhanced feel.. Supplied by Argo, Europes biggest manufacturer of springs, the interior has a unique set up of 1000 inner coils with 3250 mini springs on either side. Housed in their own cloth sleeve and totally independent of any surrounding springs, the interior offers piston-like support to each part of the body. Side-stitching is a labour intensive and intricate technique thats reserved for top-end mattresses and performed by experienced craftsmen. Using a long upholstery needle and high tension twine, the perimeter springs are attached to the border to provide complete edge to edge support. This process increases the sleeping area by 20 and strengthens the edge of the mattress and prevents the border from bowing out over time.
