The Jacket has an anatomically profiled design to provide long range rider comfort. There is a new ventilation system on upper chest area plus air exhaust zippered opening on back for optimal levels of airflow, as well as a similar system on the sleeves for even more cooling airflow. This Jacket has a removable and wearable waterproof Drystar membrane, and a removable thermal layer for added practicality when riding in all weather conditions.The Valparaiso V3 has been CE-certified to CE category II, PPE Regulation (EU) 2016-425 and has CE-certified Level 2 soft protectors throughout, with Chest and Back pad compartments for protectors which are sold separately. To ensure that the rider is visible to all road users in poor or low light conditions, there is reflective detailing on the sleeves and sides.To improve the fit and feel of the Jacket, there is a waist adjustment belt with buckle for optimal fit, a bottom circumference shock cord adjuster and multiple fit and volume adjusters on the sleeves.There are several storage options on the Jacket - two front hand cargo pockets, front chest pockets and a large rear utility pocket.Additional features include a new quick collar buckle closure system with precise adjustment range for a supreme fit, and a zippered collar extension to provide higher coverage against the elements when required. There is a internal waist connection zipper for attachment to Alpinestars riding pants and a soft collar inner liner with padded edging for improved rider comfort.
