A Polartec™ fleece-lined collar keeps it cosy around the neck while a dual-ended front zipper allows you to increase ventilation at the bottom while keeping your chest protected. A stretch back panel and semi-fitted design keeps the fit streamlined and comfortable too. It's not just a windproof layer though, Altura have also applied a water-repellent finish. This will fend off a light rain shower and add comfort during a drizzly day of cycling. Shaped cuffs give a smooth fit, sealing out the elements and work well with gloves too. With large areas of reflectivity, you'll also be more visible to other road users, adding safety as day turns to night. The Rocket Insulated Gilet is lightweight thanks to the Pertex Microlight™ windproof fabric whilst thermal fleece fabric around the chest and lower back provide excellent core warmth. A Polartec™ fleece lined collar offers additional cosiness and the DWR coating along with a dual ended water resistant zip protects from showers and road spray.
