August Grove This is a playful collie dog in cold cast bronze. "Cold cast bronze"" is a technique used for making figurines, it involves blending bronze powders with a specially formulated resin to produce a material which is applied to the interior of a silicone mold. The mold is then filled with a blend of resin and bronze metal powder, the figurine is then left to set. The finished item has the same appealing look of a bronze figurine, a cool feel and is weighted. All in all, a cold cast bronze figurine is a piece of art produced for a fraction of the cost of solid bronze but still carrying the same incredible detail and design. All of their bronze figurines and figures are produced this way. From bronze horse figurines to elephants, hares to dogs all have cared in exactly the same way. Dust your bronze figurine an untreated cloth or duster, use absolutely no chemicals at all. If your figurine is very detailed or has hard places use an artists paintbrush.
