The earrings consist of semi-round translucent German vintage glass beads that are first plated with platinum and then plated with 24K gold. They are complemented with 3 graduated corrugated round beads, corrugated tube beads, and then finished with earring studs. All metals are made of 14K gold-filled. The vintage German glass beads were hand-pressed during the 1920s- 1960s. As a result, no two beads are exactly alike so each has its own characteristics that make each of them even more unique and beautiful. They are no longer in production and are now considered rare and collectible. Due to the nature of this jewelry, it is unique. It is best if you remove your jewelry when sleeping, bathing, swimming and washing your hands and putting them away neatly where they can not be tangled.
