Designer pendant lamp Gople - coloured-transparent work of art made of glass The glass shade of the pendant lamp Gople is handmade according to an old Venetian technique. During blowing, white glass is gradually transformed into crystal glass, so that each lamp is unique. The coloured surface finish is produced using an innovative metal vacuum deposition process. The glass refinement was designed in such a way that on the one hand the light source - the illuminant used - is shielded and on the other hand the direct emission of light is maximised by transparency. Gople is a designer luminaire by BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group), an association of designers, architects and thinkers working in the fields of architecture, urban planning, research and development, with offices in Copenhagen and New York. The group has made a name for itself through innovative, resource-conscious work and projects such as the Danish Maritime Museum (2013), 8 House (2010) and Copenhagen Harbour Bath. Current projects include the Vancouver House Tower, the LEGO Brand House in Denmark, and West 57th, a 750-unit residential complex in Manhattan. An Artemide product handcrafted in Italy.
