Doug Eaton spent his childhood in Coleford, Forest of Dean and attended Cheltenham College of Art in the late Sixties. Working quickly in acrylics, Doug creates angular, refracted images that evoke the engaging landscape of the Forest of Dean that he knows so well. Contrasting elements come together; soft versus hard, light versus dark. Vibrant, vivid colours mix with textures and strong lines and shapes in Doug's paintings. 60% Textile, 40% MDF.
