The king size Cypress Pocket 1000 bedunites a modern faux suede divan base and a generously filled pocket sprung mattress. Featuring a soft support, the Cypress mattress boasts independent pocket springs, layers of hypo-allergenic fillings and a super soft cover that incorporates pure silk. The mattress has a hand tufted finish that pre-tensions the springs and the fillings, creates a high loft effect and ensures the upholstery is held firmly in place. The process of hand tufting is achieved by passing tapes through the entire mattress at regular intervals and securing them on each side with a woollen tuft. Within the mattress interior, each pocket spring is housed in a separate flexible fabric sleeve that allows it to move independently. This means the springs only compress where pressure is exerted, producing a more responsive feel and allowing for motion separation between both sides of the bed. A flat rod-edge metal frame is fitted to the perimeter of the spring unit to ensure the integrity of the nested pocket springs and allows you the full use of the mattress width. Supporting the mattress is our universal platform style, solid top divan base. It is available in several colours and a variety of storage options. There is even the choice of standard castors or stylish silver glides.
