By uniting the contemporary Solar faux suede base and the orthopaedic Pearl mattress, we have created a stylish king size divan set with an extra firm sleeping surface.. The Pearl mattress has a hand tufted damask cover and features hypo-allergenic fillings and a 12.5 gauge spring system, one of the firmest wires used in mattress manufacturing. To pre-tension the mattress and ensure the fillings are held in place a hand tufted finish is applied by passing tapes through it at regular intervals and securing them on both sides with a cotton tuft. Its open coil interior is an extremely hard wearing system that is made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire.. The border of the mattress is strengthened by a thick, rod-edge wire that adds support to the perimeter of the mattress. This lets you sleep right up to the edge without the sensation of rolling off. Supporting the mattress is their Solar platform style, solid top divan base. It is available in a variety of storage options and several faux suede colours; there is even the choice of standard castors or stylish silver glides.
