The Bodega x ASICS Gel-NYC “After Hours" is a collaboration between the New England based sneaker retailer and the Japanese footwear brand on a colorway of the retro-inspired sneaker. The unique colorway is inspired by objects found in a city landscape. More specifically, Bodega’s Gel-NYC “After Hours” nods to the rugged look of barbed wire and chain link fences seen in cities throughout the world. The shoe has a grey mesh base with Plum Truffle-colored hairy and smooth suede. “Bodega” and “ASICS” co-branding is seen on the heel. Hot pink and purple accents reference the glow of streetlights and neon signs. Gel cushioning in the midsole provides a comfortable ride. Release date: September 29, 2023
