Description
Enter the futuristic world of Red Rising, which is based on Pierce Brown's book series about a dystopian society separated into fourteen castes. As you assemble an assortment of followers, you represent a house striving to climb to power (represented by your hand of cards). Will you defy the Society's rules or submit to the Golds' dominance? Red Rising is a 1-6 player hand-management and combo-building game (45-60 minute playing time). You begin with a hand of five cards, and on your turn, you will deploy one of them to a location on the board, triggering the deploy benefit of that card. You'll then take the top card from another location (facing up) or the deck (face down), gaining the benefit of that location and adding the card to your hand as you boost your end-game point total. If you're content with your hand at any moment, you can use your turn to reveal a card from the top of the deck and place it on a location to earn the benefit of that location.
