Description
Asplenium scolopendrium is a fantastic evergreen fern that produces crinkled glossy green fronds. One of the only plants that will truly thrive in deep shade. Excellent for courtyard gardns, awkward slopes and shady corners. Plant the Hart’s Tongue Fern in a moist, but well-drained soil in full or dappled shade. Avoid midday sun, as this can cause leaf scorch. Asplenium will cope well with exposed conditions and pollution. Asplenium are tolerant of dry shade, although make sure plants are watered well during their first season after planting.
