Created primarily for racing, the EQUIPE RS Spring Fall Aero Gilet shouldn't be confused with a thin emergency vest you might stuff in a pocket just in case. Instead, this is a core body protector designed from the ground up to keep you comfortable when making race-pace efforts in changeable weather. Its ability to ensure you're neither too hot (and hence too sweaty) or too cold (so you'll never quite get comfortable) is down to two highly functional fabrics. First, a three-layer softshell is used to the front. This features a membrane to block bitterly cold winds and to shrug off road spray while also holding in your body heat. Meanwhile, the back of the gilet is treated to a lighter, more breathable fabric. The open-knit structure is quick to wick away sweat and is also highly breathable to allow warm, humid vapour escape, leaving you drier and more comfortable when the race is really on. As a race garment, the Spring Fall Aero Gilet is stripped down to reduce weight, maintain aerodynamics and to fit seamlessly with your race kit. Raw-cut hems are used throughout to achieve a smooth fit and pre-shaped panels give a beautifully snug and aero finish. A double slider front zipper completes the gilet, allowing you to maintain aerodynamics up top while ventilating from the bottom.
