This attractive Aster brings a welcome splash of colour to our herbaceous borders, long after other perennials have died back. Samoa produces masses of beautiful purple-blue daisy-like flower heads, and is a particular favourite for gardens which are low maintenance, as they are easy to care for. It is very attractive to pollinating insects so will entice bees and butterflies.
