The Thompson and Morgan Aster 'Starlight Mixed is one of the best dwarf Asters! Wonderful looking spider-like flowers that have beautiful colourful blooms smother compact basal branched plants in attractive shades of blue, purple, scarlet and rose. A flower that blooms through the summer, with a long-lasting flowering period of July to September and grows to a height of 20cm (8in) and spreads up to 20cm (8in). The Aster plant is a half-hardy annual that comes as plugs each will provide a beautiful colourful display to garden borders, garden patio containers, window boxes and even hanging baskets creating an early colourful display of flowers. Grow on in frost free conditions and gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, 15-20cm (6-8in) apart.
