And it's so easy to use too The charcoal chimney starter is a hollow galvanised metal tube, open at both ends with a tray inside for charcoal, and a handle to pour the charcoal into your barbecue. How does it work? Crumple some newspaper into the lower chamber. Fill the top chamber with charcoal. Place the chimney starter on your charcoal grate. Light the newspaper through the holes. The flames will grow upwards and light the charcoal. It will be ready to use in about 15 minutes depending on weather conditions. Using the wooden handle, carefully pour the hot charcoal onto your grate. Set aside the chimney starter to cool on a non flammable surface away from children and pets. And you're ready to cook.
