Description

Phyllostachys aurea is a graceful evergreen bamboo producing large clumps of bright green canes 2.5-3.5m high that become yellowish with age and exposure. The linear-lanceolate leaves are yellow to golden-green growing to 18cm in length. Phyllostachys aurea bamboo is a great choice for adding impact to borders, containers or for screening. It is easy to maintain, however ensure to put a barrier in place due to its spreading habit.
