Description

A classy brass planter in scalloped brass probably made around the 1950s in the regency style. It's in good vintage condition with patina & a few minor dings here & there, but nothing to diminish it's glowing presence & lovely boastful curves. The body appears to be crimped on to the back plate & there are solder joins too. I am not sure of the integrity of these joins & would advise not to overload this planter with anything too heavy & use it more for decorative effect with a small house plant, trailing ivy, or even fake flowers. The inside has lots of patina & verdigris - photos six & seven. There is a hole on the back plate for hanging. Measures 10cm high, 26cm wide & 16.75cm deep at the middle.
