Goliath was a giant and that's all you can say about this board, too. Riding Style The Goliath is gigantic on the whole mountain. Huge backcountry booters are its favourite, but it also rides strong in the park. Shape The Directional Twin Shape has a twin contact shape with an extra centimetre added to the nose for a directional outline, perfectly balanced for all-mountain riding. A versatile board like the Goliath needs the Freestyle 3BT™ with Sidekick™ Tips. The wide base and centre base areas are proportional in width. The side base starts with a medium uplift angle and dramatically increases at the widest point of the board. This shape is the most versatile in the line and offers a powerful and reactive ride with freestyle tendencies and powder float. Profile The Freestyle 3BT™ has a narrower centre base than the Twins, but a longer contact length between the feet and a medium camber. Flex The mid-stiff flex (6/10) provides stability and aggressiveness in every terrain. Construction The Ultra Light Core is made of 70-30 Swiss paulownia and poplar wood blend for the lightest strength to weight ratio. The X-shaped carbon stringers beneath the bindings provide a precise power transmission from edge to edge. The D.S.T, Dual Super Tube wood core upgrade, has two hollow carbon rods milled into the bottom of the core to enhance pop and give the camber more snap. The Hyper Glide S Base is Bataleon's standard sintered base that’s tough and fast, and faster when waxed.
