Beautiful & impressive original West Country pine farmhouse cupboard or dresser. Showing all the character & presence of age. The wood is mellow & smooth with a wonderfully rich tone. It has classic form with two top drawers & large lower cupboard with a centre shelf. Lovely carved detailing with attractive beading & the pretty original escutcheon. The left had door closes with an internal lock the right hand door is held in place with magnetic strip. The key is not original & for decorative purpose only! Lots of useful storage space - I have freshened up the inside of the cupboard with Pastille Grey chalk paint which I have sealed with water-resistant varnish which is wipe-clean. I have treated & protected the exterior with Danish Oil & lined the drawers with oil cloth. As with all of my pieces this is a vintage item with imperfections & character, so please do not buy if you are looking for pristine & perfect! The dresser measures 113 cm wide by 56 cm deep & stands 94 cm high. I am based in Cheshire & you are welcome to collect in person or arrange your own courier.
