Description
These are quality blooms that grow to a huge size and continue to flower throughout the summer period. Begonia tubers like to be planted in well-drained moist compost in a bright sunny position, protected from cold winter winds. As the flowers start to die, the heads should be dead-headed to allow more blooms to be appear. At the end of the growing season the leaves and stems will yellow and fall off naturally. Reduce watering to prevent begonia plants from rotting at this stage. When the stems have all dropped away, dig out the tubers.
