Bianchi Infinito CV Rival eTap AXS Disc Road Bike 2022 As part of Bianchi’s endurance biased range, the Infinito CV Rival eTap AXS Disc Road Bike blends comfort and speed, making it ideal for long sportives or multi-day trips that involve many hours in the saddle. Key to the bike’s comfort is the Countervail design of the carbon layup that effectively isolates the rider from road vibrations, meaning less fatigue and numbness. The geometry is also a little less aggressive than their full-bore racing bikes, whilst still being quick and efficient. There is also clearance for 32mm tyres if some of the roads encountered are likely to be less than perfect, allowing it to take poorly surfaced lanes in its stride. SRAM’s 12-speed Rival drivetrain is fully wireless; with no cables to stretch, break or get sticky, shifting is near-instant and accurate every time. With just a single paddle on either lever, it is particularly well suited for use with gloves on as it is virtually impossible to miss-shift. A 46/33 chainset and 10-36 cassette further underline the bike’s long-distance ambitions, giving an easy enough gear to cope with steep hills even when weary at the end of the day and with hydraulic disc brakes tired hands will still be able to brake safely.
