Bidens 'Pink Princess' boasts pretty two-tone pink blooms complemented by fabulous feathery foliage. Beautiful Bidens are brilliant for brightening beds, borders and patio containers with a free flowering display that lasts right through to October . Unlike most others, this variety remains compact with a neat, upright habit all summer long. Culinary note: the blossoms are commonly used in salads but also hold their flavour once cooked and can be added to a variety of dishes. Pot up Bidens plugs and grow them on in frost free conditions for transplanting at a later date. Pinch out the growing points while the plants are still small to encourage more stems. Regular pinching will create a shapely compact plant that is perfect for containers. When plants are well grown acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days prior to planting them in their final positions. Grow Bidens plants in containers, hanging baskets and borders in any well drained soil in full sun. We've redesigned our larger plug size so that these parcels will also fit through most letter boxes, so they're fresher and will arrive sooner just like our smaller plugs.
