The Woburn is crafted from solid oak, sourced only from sustainable forests and treated with a durable lacquer that enriches its natural charm and texture. Oak is a hardwood and is extremely popular with furniture and cabinet makers as it possesses good bending qualities, finished well and resists moisture retention. It features a high slatted headboard and a low footboard that enhances the feeling of space, making it perfect for bedrooms that have limited floor space. Set within the frame is a strong wooden slatted base that benefits from a central rail and support leg to provide additional stability to the overall structure. The bed ends have a clean and smooth finish as all fixtures and fittings are concealed on the inside with no unsightly bolt heads spoiling the look of the bed posts.
