Description
This table may look contemporary but its distinctive oriental style is in fact hundreds of years old. The rolled scroll effect at the table's feet was common in Chinese furniture from the Qing dynasty (1644 - 1911), but this simple type of construction was developed even before the earlier Ming Dynasty. The Chinese used these tables not only to hold offerings to ancestors but also as general display tables. The version is hand-made from reclaimed elm and looks beautiful in a hall or reception room. Colour: Warm Elm
