Description
According to one Chinese scholar, a drawer is a place which copes with idleness and conceals incompetence. If so the hundred eye chest (''bei yau chu'') is the perfect remedy for even the most disorganised mind. This type of chest was used by Chinese apothecaries and pharmacists to hold herbs, potions and the other trappings of Chinese medicine. Today its sixteen drawers provide ample space for socks, tights, underwear, cosmetics or toiletries. They are also perfectly sized for CD storage, holding up to 400 CDs. Made of reclaimed elm wood with brass drawer pulls. Handcrafted from reclaimed elm wood.
