Bloomsbury Market Bodkins Hand Hooked Blue Rug
Description
This Baluch carpet is a wonderful example of true nomadic art. The Baluch is knotted in three countries: Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan. It gets its name from the Baluchen tribe, but is also made by other tribes. It is mainly small carpets or bridges that are knotted. Big carpets are rare. They have a very good price-performance ratio and are carefully crafted. The carpets are hard-wearing and are very well-known among all modern nomadic rugs.
