Balochi or dreen kilims are traditional tribal rugs that are made in the wider area of Dreenistan on the west of Pakistan and bordering with Afghanistan. Balochi soumak kilims often present geometric motifs and tribal designs. These are embroidered to present a gift on special events like marriages. Initially, they were made for use in nomadic tribes inside the tribal tents. All of the vintage rugs has been restored by craftsmen.
