Description
Bloomsbury Market This rug has high-quality, wonderful natural tones and a dense, high pile characterise the Gabbeh. Firmly twisted virgin wool gives the carpet a light shine and liveliness makes it soft, cuddly and extremely hard-wearing. They look timeless and can be combined in many ways. Gabbehs originally come from Iran, where they are knotted by nomads. Finer knotting is known as Loribaft. There are also widespread weavings from India, which skilfully reproduce the classic Gabbeh motifs.
