The starting point for the fabulous lamp was a vintage Monitor brass camping stove. This fantastic stove was made in Britain in the 1940's & features some beautiful engraving. All of the metalwork has been lightly polished & then clear powder coated to maintain the finish. The tank has some very minor dents, but nothing that detracts from look of this this 80 year old stove. This is a great looking lamp which has an amazing industrial look & it's proportioned very well. The lamp is fitted with an antique brass style light fitting which has been professionally wired with period vintage style braided cable & an inline switch. The Lamp has a generous 1.5 metre cord & has a plug pre-fitted. The lamp is fully earthed & PAT tested. To complete the lamp, we have fitted a smoked Edison filament vintage globe bulb. The warm light from this bulb brings out all the colours of the lamp. This is not just beautiful lamp but a great piece of art that is guaranteed to be a conversation piece for years to come!
