The Bontrager Montrose Pro Carbon Bike Saddle is an ultralight, high-performance saddle for road or mountain racers. The Montrose Pro is built for Bontrager’s Posture 2 position which tends to suit racers and fast, aggressive riders. For road riders this means you’ll be spending a lot of time on the drops. For mountain bikers you’ll likely be riding a fast XC or marathon bike. The Posture 2 position on the Montrose gives increased stability when sitting on the nose of the saddle and better pressure distribution throughout. The Contour Relief Zone Plus (CRZ+) full saddle cutaway gives better soft tissue protection for extra comfort on longer rides. The Montrose Pro saddle uses a carbon fibre reinforced shell and oversized suspended carbon rails. This makes the saddle super light but also adds extra compliance into the saddle allowing it to soak up more vibrations and bumps to give you a more comfortable ride and let you keep the power down for longer.
