The women’s version of the Velocis uses all the same technology as the men’s shoe but it has been built to better fit women’s feet. Although the Velocis is designed to perform it’s also a shoe you can use without killing your feet. Bontrager rate the stiffness of the Velocis at 10 out of 14, compared to a full 14 out of 14 for the pro level XXX shoe. Having a small amount of flex in the sole makes the Velocis easier to live with. It also comes with plenty of ventilation to stop your feet boiling on long summer rides.
