These ornate gold vermeil earrings are inspired by the miraculous ability of the lotus flower to rise elegantly and unscathed from the mud every day. Sold as a pair, each stud features six small sterling silver lotus flowers coated with an extra thick layer of 14K gold to give a rich and lasting lustre. Quality commitments: As our jewellery is made to very high standards involving handcrafting, each piece may have its own small unique variation. For our gold vermeil pieces, we use an extra thick 2. 5 micron coating of 14K and 18K gold over solid sterling silver which is more than ten times traditional gold plating and more than double the industry standard.
