Inspired by the beautiful Thanaka leaf designs that adorn the cheeks of Burmese women, these intricate gold vermeil earrings feature leaves crafted from solid sterling silver and 18K gold and forged into a contemporary three-dimensional teardrop shape. With an elongated hook design and featuring Brave Edith's signature satin finish with high polish interior, these earrings are simple to wear and add an elegant touch to any outfit. Handcrafting: As our jewellery is made to very high standards involving handcrafting, each piece may have its own small unique variation. Care: To ensure your Brave Edith pieces are kept in beautiful condition, we recommend you store your jewellery in our complimentary velvet bag and box. We also advise removing your jewellery before swimming and showering, and putting your jewellery on after you have applied perfume. Gold Vermeil: For our gold vermeil pieces, we use an extra thick 2. 5 micron coating of 18K gold over solid sterling silver to give a rich and long lasting lustre. This is more than ten times traditional gold plating and more than double the industry standard for gold vermeil.
