Forward or rearward facing, DUALFIX2 R gives you all-round flexibility. With its 360° rotation at the press of a button, placing and harnessing your little one is a breeze – as is switching from rear- to forward-facing when the time comes.
Of course, you may prefer not to do that at all. Rear-facing is the safest possible way for your young child to travel and the DUALFIX2 R allows them to do that in comfort all the way up to 18kg or around 4 years old. The short rebound bar provides increased leg room and multiple recline options ensure the perfect position whether they want to lie back and rest or sit up and take in the world. You can even adjust it on the go.
Should the worst happen and you suffer a collision, the patented Pivot Link ISOFIX System directs the force of the impact first downward, into the vehicle seat, and then forward, more gently - greatly reducing the risk of head and neck injury for your child.
Deep, protective side wings and soft neoprene performance chest pads all add to your little passenger’s comfort and safety, while the quick-remove cover makes life easier for you when the inevitable leaks and spills happen!
The current safety guidelines advise that newborn babies are not left in their car seat for longer than 30 minutes. For babies 2-6 months, no longer than 2 hours. It is also safer to keep your child rear-facing for as long as possible – a minimum of 15 months but ideally 4 years. A child should never be in their harnessed car seat with a thick winter coat or snowsuit on.
