An updated iteration of the iconic Ralph Lauren Lauren dress worn at the 1999 Academy Awards ceremony, our Brylee emulates the same dedication to high quality crafting that was used to create the famous red-carpet style. A total of 15 specialised embroiderers worked together to apply rows of ruffled tulle across the A-line silhouette of this dress, starting in a smaller width on the bodice that gradually widens towards the hem. A dégradé effect is used to give this dress a beautiful ombré colouring, which transitions seamlessly from a light blush colour on the bodice to a darker mauve tone on the skirt. Finally, silver-tone metallic thread and shimmering glass beads are embroidered in a zigzag pattern across the rows of tulle for added texture and dimension.
